Current local preview

The local preview has no analytics, advertising, account system, or advertising cookies. Search runs in your browser and does not send a query to Level Clue. The Yes and No buttons display a preview message locally and do not submit a feedback record.

Anonymous guide feedback

On the deployed site, feedback is sent only after you choose Yes or No. Your browser creates a random identifier and stores it in local storage together with the recorded choice for that guide. The request contains the guide path, your Yes or No choice, and that random identifier. Level Clue stores those three fields in Cloudflare D1 so one browser is not counted repeatedly for the same guide.

The guide-feedback table does not store your name, email address, IP address, or browser user-agent string. The random identifier is not connected to an account or used for advertising. Cloudflare may still process ordinary network and security metadata when it delivers the request, as described below.

Feedback retention and control

Raw guide-feedback records are used to find walkthroughs that need another review. Records that have not been updated for more than 12 months are periodically deleted by the feedback service as new responses are received. Non-identifying totals may be retained to compare guide quality over time. You can remove the identifier and saved choices from your device by clearing LevelClue.com local storage.

Cloudflare hosting

When the site is deployed through Cloudflare, standard security, delivery, and abuse-prevention logs may process IP addresses, user agents, request times, and request metadata. Those operational logs are controlled by the hosting service and are separate from the Level Clue guide-feedback table.

Video and external links

YouTube players are not loaded until you choose to load a walkthrough video. Loading one sends request information to YouTube. Store, source, and share links lead to third-party services with their own privacy policies.
